“Homesick Suburban Blues” is an ode to the horror genre. It is the long awaited event of the year, Prom at Commack High. The high school goodie two shoes, Kasey Jones has booked the band No Jersey to play the school’s event. As the band heats up, the night takes a grave turn descending into hell. This film pays tribute to all the horror classics from Carrie, Halloween, Evil Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street.

This production was a micro-budget of $900. The film was shot at Main Drag Records in Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY in their downstairs venue space. We worked with a skeleton crew and 14 actors. This production had it all, dancing, blood, and some fun scares.
